There are lots of Chicago Attractions in this famous city for the individual or the family to go see, check out and enjoy while on vacation. Chicago is home to an excellent jazz music scene. You can catch a trolley downtown and wander around a little until you come across a café or bar with a live band or head into a music shop with eclectic offerings.

For children there’s the Chicago Children’s Museum with over three floors of exhibits, workshops and programs to keep the kids excited and interested for the entire day. The Field Museum in Chicago offers up Sue, the world’s most complete skeleton of a tyrannosaurus rex for visitors to gawk at. While the Adler Planetarium (United States First Planetarium) offers two full sized theaters for visitors to enjoy a planetarium show in and the Shedd Aquarium is the world’s largest indoors and has over 20,000 different animals to observe.

If you are hankering for a bite to eat head no further than the nearest Chicago style pizza place to get your fill of the cheesy, tomato and pepperoni topped delight. That’s one memory you’ve got to take with you when you leave Chicago. Or if you like you can check out a fine dining experience in the form of a really good steakhouse, such as Morton’s of Chicago. At Morton’s you can get a properly cooked and seasoned steak with such fine food sides as al dente asparagus or just plain good potato hash browns. Afterwards order a scotch on the rocks and have a smoke. Reservations are recommended here.

When you’ve had your fill of food you can walk it off by heading to the Navy Pier. This place is over fifty acres of parks, restaurants and other attractions. They’ve even got rides, such as the Carousel and the lover’s classic Ferris wheel.
